*NASRDA to partner states on deployment of tech for internal security* The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has expressed readiness to collaborate with state governments to deploy its homegrown surveillance technology, capable of capturing visuals both day and night, in a bid to strengthen national security. The Director General of NASRDA, Dr Mathew Adepoju, said this during the signing of a partnership with the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) at the Obasanjo Space Centre in Abuja. In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of BDIC, Mr Gbande Terwase, said the partnership would leverage on NASRDA’s expertise and infrastructure to boost Benue’s economy, empower the youths with relevant digital skills, and expose students to space science, technology excursions, and innovation programmes.
