This Youth Month, we are shining a light on Wits students who are creating change. When Accounting Science student Lehlohonolo Mahlangu saw his peers struggling academically, he launched the Distinction Bound Programme, a tutoring initiative helping high school and university students unlock academic excellence. Beyond teaching the curriculum, Distinction Bound offers tailored support like exam planners, structured timetables, and time management tools. “It’s about building a strong foundation for educational growth,” says Mahlangu, who’s passionate about making distinctions more accessible.
