#scenebuzz: REMOTE UNITS ENABLE AT-HOME NATIONAL ID RENEWAL FOR ELDERLY & ILL CITIZENS  The Ministry of Interior has expanded its Civil Status Sector services by deploying mobile units across several governorates to facilitate the issuance and renewal of national ID cards and official documents. The initiative is part of a broader policy to enhance community outreach and improve access to public services, particularly for the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, and those with limited mobility. Technically and logistically equipped convoys have been dispatched to Cairo, Giza, Matrouh, Monufia, Qalyubia, Beheira, Minya, Assiut, and North Sinai. These efforts resulted in the issuance of 3,606 national ID cards and over 14,500 official documents.
