*SEMA Brings Hope to Garba-Chede Windstorm Victims: Taraba State Govt Committed to Emergency Response and Relief*
The Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has provided relief materials to victims of a recent windstorm in Garba-Chede, Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Led by Deputy Director of Relief and Rehabilitation, Mr. Benjamin Bala, who represented Executive Secretary Dr. Echuseh Audu, the SEMA team assessed the damage and offered immediate support to those affected.
The delegation paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Hakimin Garba-Chede, HRH Rafiudeen Kaigama Manu, before distributing relief materials to the community.
Mr. Bala emphasized that the visit aligns with Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas' mandate to support citizens during hardship through SEMA.
The traditional ruler expressed gratitude to the state government and SEMA for their prompt response, noting the community's appreciation for the government's presence in their time of need.
Community leaders and beneficiaries praised the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
The SEMA team distributed food and non-food items, including foodstuffs and essential materials, to alleviate the victims' suffering.
