INTERNALAUDITOR (GRADE 10): AUDIT DEPARTMENT *Duties and Responsibilities* - Monitor the use of Council resources. - Carry out Audit assignments under the guidance of the Audit Committee. - Liaise and work with external auditors on issues of Council. - Ensure establishment of sound internal control systems within Council and comply with standard practices and regulations - Implement and evaluate effectiveness of internal control systems. - Perform sampling to accomplish audit procedures - Design and develop audit procedures - Carry out special investigations and produce documentary evidence and findings - Any other duties as may be lawfuly and reasonably assigned by the Accounting Officer of Council. - No criminal record within the local authority fraternity *QUALIFICATIONS* - Applicants should have at least one of the following qualifications: - B. Com inAuditing or AccOunting - Master's degree will be an added advantage. - Full C.I.S/ACCAor CIMA Qualification - Certificate in Sage Pastel Evolution - Certificate in Cyber Security and Data Protection - 5 years' experience in Local Governance. - Experience in local Government will be an added advantage. - No criminal record - Clean Class 4 Driver's licence - A Zimbabwean Citizen - At least 35 years of age and mature. - No criminal record within the local authority fraternity. -
