Nyadoi Elsie Odhiambo is a Senior Data Scientist at Safaricom PLC, with over four years of experience in Big Data, AI, and machine learning. He develops advanced analytical solutions that address complex business and financial challenges. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance (Quantitative Finance & Econometrics) and a Bachelor’s in Applied Statistics from Maseno University. His research interests include machine learning for finance, large language models, and blockchain, with several publications in international journals. Elsie has earned accolades such as the International AI Expert Conference Award (2023) and the 2024 Safaricom Group CEO Heroes Award for innovation. He is also a respected jury member and moderator at various innovation and academic events.
