Francis Okwara is a Senior Innovation Officer at the Kenya National Innovation Agency, with a background in education, communication, and innovation. He holds a degree in Education and IT and is currently pursuing a master's in Innovation and Sustainable Development. At KeNIA, he plays a key role in driving innovation commercialization, organizing national innovation events like Kenya Innovation Week and the East Africa STI Conference, and judging high-profile innovation competitions such as KUZA Awards and BeGreenAfrica Pitchfest. A dedicated mentor and leader, Mr. Okwara is passionate about empowering young innovators and fostering a dynamic national innovation ecosystem.
