UNICEF: fund children's budgets *By Hurumende New Hub* The United Nations Children's Education Fund (UNICEF)has implored the government to fast-track budget allocations through relevant ministries to ensure the welfare of children. Speaking at the 33rd session of the Junior Parliament, UNICEF Chief on HIV/Aids Adolescent development, Mrs Jacqueline Kabambe, said the government has made strides in improving child nutrition, fighting child marriages and assisting children with disabilities. "Every investment in a child is an investment in the future of the country.
