Dear chess players, The second and final Fedako U16 Olympiad Qualification Tournament will begin this Friday 30/05 and ends on Sunday 01/06. This tournament will be held at Frater Aurelio, Kaya Zusternan di Schijndel. All players who have not turned 16 by January 1, 2025 (born in 2009 or later) are eligible to participate. All players will have to pay xcg 15,- to participate. This can be done in cash or via MCB 24399909 (payment description: First and Last name FU16OQT1). All players must have a FIDE ID (If you don't have one yet you can get your very own for xcg 25,-). There will be prices for the top 4 players. We will play 5 rounds in total. The exact schedule will be: -Friday at 6pm -Saturday at 9am and at 12pm -Sunday at 9am and at 12pm TECHNICAL REGULATIONS: -The Tournament will be FIDE rated. -The Tournament will be held in accordance with the FIDE Tournament Rules and the Laws of Rapid Chess. -The time control is 45 minutes with an increment of 10 seconds per move starting with move 1. -The default time for all rounds is 20 minutes. -FIDE anti-cheating Regulations are valid for the entire tournament. -Cell phones, electronic devices are prohibited inside the tournament room.
