Background: A Death in Custody, a Cop Granted Bail According to court records, Constable Prince Ndavambi, the officer accused of assaulting Bee, was arrested and charged with murder. However, he was released on US$400 bail and remanded to July 2, sparking outrage from Bee’s family who say justice is being denied. Juruvenge was arrested on May 27, 2025, after an altercation with a fellow resident, Mwazha/Maphosa, who reported him for assault and theft.
