*Call for Proposal: META Small Grants for Grassroots CSOs in Kenya* FEMNET, in partnership with SDGs Kenya Forum and WECF, is implementing the EU-funded META (Meaningful Engagement – Transformative Action) initiative (2024–2027) to support structured dialogue between grassroots civil society actors and the EU in Kenya. Eligibility: Registered Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Kenya under the Societies Act, Trust Act, Companies Act, or Social Services. Not eligible: INGOs, national NGOs, political parties, for-profits, or individuals. Funding Range: KES 600,000 to KES 3,000,000 (average KES 2 million) 50 percent of grants will go to women- and youth-led CBOs At least 4 grants for minority, disability, or indigenous-led groups Priority Thematic Areas: Green transition (climate, biodiversity) Human-centered digitalization Peace, governance, and human rights Gender equality and youth engagement Enabling civic space and CSO advocacy Implementation Period: Up to 18 months (October 2025 to January 2027) Deadline to Apply: 4 July 2025 at 23:59 EAT Submit completed application and budget as guided.
