✈️Task of Logistic Branch Officers in Pak Airforce Logistics Officers in PAF, they do everything to ensure that all personnel of PAF can perform their duties. How do they do it? By ensuring that everyone gets every thing they require to perform their duties. They do the following: ✈️a. Calculating the future requirements for operations ✈️b. Procurement of projected requirement ✈️c. Warehousing of all procured equipments ✈️d. Ensuring that the requirements reach the end user units ✈️e. Dustribution and transportation ✈️f. Reverse logistics of all unserviceable equipments ✈️g. Replacement of all unserviceable equipment ✈️h. Disposal of scrap and salvage ✈️i. Basically the whole life cycle of all equipments used within PAF What all ranges of equipment they handle: ✈️a. Aircrafts and its spares (fighters, transport, helicopters and UAVs) ✈️b. Missiles and its spares ✈️c. Weapon systems and its spares including ammunition ✈️d. Radars and its spares ✈️e. Safety equipment and its spares ✈️f. Communication equipment and its spares Vehicles and its spares ✈️g. Clothing - flying clothing, uniforms, barrack clothing, hospital clothing, etc ✈️h. Barrack equipments like tents, tables, cots, chairs, etc ✈️i. IT equipment and its spares ✈️j. All types of fuels and lubricants ✈️k. Rations ✈️l. Items required for specific requirements like funerals, passing out parades, etc ✈️m. And any new requirement, that may come in the future Literally all non living things and its whole life cycle is handled by Logistics officers of PAF. Over and above these branch requirements, they undertake official duties like duty officer of the day, board of officers, training, etc and secondary duties like handling CSD canteens and other ventures of the units wherever they are posted.
