*Find Wisdom*
_By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare_
*Day 146 (26/05/2025)*
> _Proverbs 24:14 (NIV) "Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off."_
The Bible says wisdom is like honey; it makes life sweet and pleasant to live. And that is why the Scripture says that wisdom is the principal or the chiefest thing to get in life.
However, the nature of wisdom is such that we must seek it because no one is naturally born with it. The opening scripture says, "If you find it". This description of wisdom makes it a treasure to be sought for, and we must find it. Let me show you some simple ways to find wisdom. Here are three ways to find wisdom:
1. *Have the fear of the Lord.*
_Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."_
The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil and pride. As we depart from all forms of evil in obedience to His Word, we begin to walk in the paths of finding divine wisdom.
2. Walk with the wise.
_Proverbs 13:20 (CEB) "Walk with wise people and become wise; befriend fools and get in trouble."_
If bad company corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33), then certainly good company enhances good character. When we associate with people who have wisdom (in any particular area), we begin to exhibit their wisdom through learning. Therefore, walk with the wise and become wise.
3. *Pray for wisdom.*
_Ephesians 1:17 (NIV) "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better."_
Apostle Paul kept asking God in prayer for the church in Ephesus to receive the Spirit of wisdom. As a believer, if you want wisdom or if you lack it in any particular area of concern, ask God in prayer and the Spirit of wisdom will respond to you.
_Precious one, in finding wisdom, walk in the fear of the Lord, walk with the wise and ask the Lord for wisdom._
*Prayer:*
_Heavenly Father, I ask and receive sound wisdom for my life, family and work, in Jesus’ name. Amen._
