Last night, the ANC's First Deputy Secretary-General, Comrade Nomvula Mokonyane, joined fellow mourners and comrades in honouring the life and legacy of Mama Auriel Nomazotho Gabi. Mama Nomazotho was a veteran of South Africa's liberation struggle, a tireless community activist, and the steadfast partner of our late comrade and martyr, Joe Ggabi. We pay tribute to her enduring contribution to the cause of our liberation.
