The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and have basic accounting knowledge. *Cash Handling & Daily Operations:* As a Cashier cum Accountant, your primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day cash transactions of the company. You will ensure that all receipts and payments are accurately recorded and that the cash on hand matches the official records. Your role will involve operating cash registers, issuing receipts, and maintaining proper cash flow control within the business unit. *Financial Documentation & Reporting:* You will support the finance team by preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cash and financial reports. This includes updating internal databases, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that financial records are always current and accurate. Your attention to detail will be vital in meeting compliance and audit requirements. *Accounts Support & Reconciliation:* In addition to handling cash, you will assist in posting financial transactions to the accounting system, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank and petty cash reconciliations. Ensuring all transactions are logged accurately and reconciled regularly is critical for this position. *Billing & Invoicing Tasks:* You will be responsible for issuing sales invoices, collecting payments from customers, and ensuring timely follow-up on pending dues. This includes updating client records, monitoring billing cycles, and coordinating with the accounting team for customer account accuracy. *Coordination with Departments:* You will work closely with the procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth flow of financial transactions, especially related to inventory, supplier payments, and sales.
