Job Title: Instrument Engineer - Oil & Gas Commissioning Project (UAE) Company: A Leading Chinese State-Owned Oil & Gas Enterprise (One of the "Big Three") Location: UAE Salary: $5,000/month (working period) + 20% salary during 1-month leave | Accommodation, Visa, and Meals Provided Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer specializing in Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning for large-scale oil and gas projects in the UAE. This role requires technical expertise, adaptability to overseas assignments, and fluency in English to ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for instrumentation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc.), ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., ISA, ASME) and client specifications . Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues during testing, calibration, and system integration . Supervise on-site installation, hydrotesting, and functional checks of instrumentation equipment . Prepare technical documentation, including test protocols, commissioning reports, and safety procedures . Provide post-commissioning support and troubleshoot operational challenges in collaboration with operations teams . Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years in oil & gas pre-commissioning/commissioning, with proven expertise in international projects. ADNOC experience is a nice plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming, control systems design, and familiarity with IEC/API standards . Language: Fluent English (written and spoken); ability to communicate technical concepts clearly . Mobility: Willingness to work on a 11-months-on/1-month-off rotation schedule. Candidates accepting this arrangement will be prioritized . Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CEng, PE) are advantageous . Benefits: Salary: Competitive $3500~5,000/month during work periods + 20% salary during leave.
