UNIK Construction Engineering POSITION :GRADER OPERATOR ( 2), MZIMBA JOB DESCRIPTIONS • Operates on and off-road vehicles and equipment. • Operates equipment in a manner that will not result in undue or unnecessary equipment breakdown, is capable • of scraping roads in an efficient manner, blading roads to proper crown, and efficiently filling in the rough • sections of roads. • Operates auxiliary equipment as desired and directed. • Checks equipment daily to maintain efficient and safe operational status: Greasing, oil changes, routine • equipment maintenance, and grader blade changes. • Constructs new road grades, requiring the ability to read and understand grade stakes, use sight perception and • reasoning necessary to balance a grade and cut ditches to reasonable construction tolerance. • Fine grades aggregate to tolerances suitable for pavement base. • Performs any and all activities that can be performed with a Motor Grader. • Is capable of physical labor such as blade changing, culvert installation, walking ditch banks to read grade • Reads and comprehends mathematics of construction grade stakes. QUALIFICATIONS • Driving License with either of the following categories: PGD or CE ,C1 or its equivalent, with at least 10years of experience in operating Grader. Those with machine Operating certificate ,they have an added advantage. • No criminal records,if you have criminal records please don’t worst your time. • Must not be a beer drunker and Non smoker The applicant must be of 35 to 40 years of age.
