Job Title: Automation Test Engineer – API Testing & Tosca Job Type: Full-Time Location: Fully Remote Experience: 4+ Years in QA with 2+ years in TOSCA Shift Timings: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST Notice period: 30 Days Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in API Testing and 2+ years in Tosca to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and play a key role in shaping test strategies and improving overall test coverage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tosca. Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services including validations of request/response, status codes, headers, and payload. Create and maintain reusable test components and frameworks using Tosca’s model-based approach. Collaborate with development, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing as required. Troubleshoot test failures and analyze root causes. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). Maintain test data and environments needed for automation and API testing. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure test execution as part of builds and releases. Required Skills and Qualifications 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on API Testing. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca. Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services. Experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar. Proficient in reading and validating JSON and XML formats. Solid knowledge of SDLC and STLC, including Agile methodologies. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. Good analytical and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to work in 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST shift. Nice to Have Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for advanced validations. CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps. ISTQB or Tosca certifications.
