The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial and cost management, strong leadership capabilities, and a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. - Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Prepare financial statements in compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and regulations. - Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions. - Review and analyze product cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives. - Ensure accuracy of cost allocation, inventory valuation, and standard costing across production units. - Monitor production variances and investigate deviations from standard costs. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Support strategic decision-making with relevant financial data and analysis. - Supervise and develop the accounting team. 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA is a plus). - Minimum 12 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and financial reporting standards. - Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. - Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
