Job Title: Accountant (Payables, Receivables & General Ledger) 📍 Location: Bahrain Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented cost and management accountant CMA with 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Costing, General Ledger, and Accounting operations. This role is based in Bahrain and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial accuracy, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate AP ledgers and support payment runs. ✅ Accounts Receivable: Generate and post sales invoices. Monitor collections and follow up on overdue accounts. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues. ✅ Costing: Support product and inventory costing. Analyze cost variances and assist in cost control initiatives. Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate cost allocation. ✅ General Ledger & Accounting: Record journal entries and perform month-end closing. Reconcile balance sheet accounts including accruals and prepayments. Ensure compliance with IFRS/local accounting standards. Assist with VAT filings and audit preparations. Requirements: Cost and management accountant (CMA) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–3 years of relevant experience. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP). Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
