Acting Town Clerk Engineer Phakamile Mabhena Moyo on Wednesday, 18 June, said that the shutdown will allow engineers to assess, scour, and repair the damaged pipeline. Two other burst pipes will be attended to during this period. As a result, several suburbs, including Tynwald, Southerton, Eastlea, Hillside, Braeside, Milton Park, and Parirenyatwa Hospital, will experience water supply disruptions. The Central Business District (CBD) will also be affected. However, parts of the Western high-density suburbs, including Glen View, Budiriro, Kuwadzana, and Mufakose, will not be affected. A Moyo has urged residents to use water sparingly until the repairs are completed. Pindula
