Florian Wirtz has completed his move to Liverpool for £100million (€117.2m; $135.5m) plus £16m of add-ons.
The Athletic has spoken to multiple sources, who asked to remain anonymous to protect their positions, to piece together the story of a deal which has smashed Liverpool’s transfer record and could also become the biggest British deal of all time if those extras are realised.
