The Supreme Court upheld Tamil Nadu’s decision to suspend ADGP Jayaram over his alleged role in a minor’s kidnapping. The case will be investigated by the Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department. Jayaram can challenge his suspension in an appropriate forum, the Court ruled.
