Develop conceptual designs aligned with manufacturability, using sound knowledge of DFM principles. Utilize 3D solid modeling tools, preferably UG-NX, and work efficiently within a Product Data Management (PDM) system. Design with a strong understanding of sheet metal, weldments, and fabrication techniques. Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and adhere to industry best practices. Required Skill Set: Proficiency in vehicle integration design, especially for structural and sheet metal components. Thorough understanding of tractor sub-systems and their integration with cabin structures. Sound knowledge of material selection, strength of materials, and design validation methods.
