Zimbabwe is ramping up the rollout of its locally developed Smart Traffic Management System, aiming to crack down on a wide range of traffic offences — including red-light jumping, speeding, illegal parking, wrong-way driving, and failure to wear seatbelts. The system will also track unsafe lane changes and other violations, as part of efforts to curb reckless driving and boost road safety nationwide.
