*CSC202/208: Computer Programming Information ‼️*
Lab 5 and 6 – 19th June 2025
We have decided to do an alternative to the practical for Lab 5 and 6. By this, each student will have to do the practical on their own and run the source code using any Python IDE.
Note that both Lab 5 and Lab 6 will be defended by each student and documented in the Lab 5 and Lab 6 spaces inside the manual. Both Labs will be due on Sunday, 22nd June, 2025, at 7 pm.
· Up to 15 points may be earned for each Lab (i.e., 5 and 6).
· There is a deadline for the tasks in Lab 5 and 6, and you have multiple opportunities to submit your work before the deadline.
· While you are strongly encouraged to do so, there is no obligation to solve the question correctly (you may decide not to take this seriously). What counts is the effort you make when trying to solve the lab practical question assigned to you.
· Submit your typed documentation via Google Classroom. Also, write in your manual.
What to do with the Questions given for both Labs (5 and 6):
1.) Answer the question assigned to you by writing the source code using any available Python IDE. We advise you to use Thonny IDE.
2.) Write a documentation of your solution inside your CSC202/208 Lab manual. Use the Lab 5 and 6 working space inside your lab manual. You may decide to add additional sheets if the space in the lab manual is not enough.
3.) Do a 5-minute video explaining what and how you understand the lab question assigned to you, and your approach to solving the exercise.
4.) In your documentation, include the following:
a.) What was the name of the Python IDE you used?
b.) The output of the program
c.) Flowchart
d.) Algorithm
e.) Your reflection regarding the solution, what interests you the most in the question(s), the time it took you to write the source code, the most difficult/challenging part of solving the question(s), your personal experience when running the code, and your impression about the question. Please, be honest with your reflection.
f.) The overall time it took you to solve each question given for the labs (5 and 6).
The Coordinator will send the question distribution shortly to each class rep
Every student must join the Google Classroom
