VACANCY A quality adhesive tape manufacturing plant between Lagos-Shagamu expressway by the Sagamu interchange in Ogun state is inviting Applications from suitable qualified candidates for the position of: HEAD OF MAINTENANCE We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable Head of maintenance to lead our maintenance department. If you have proven experience in a maintenance and management role, with excellent organizational and leadership abilities, then we encourage you to apply today. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of maintenance machinery and equipment, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 1. Responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities 2. Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations. 3. Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance. 4. Maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards. 5. Creating and implementing maintenance procedures. 6. Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems. 7. Planning and managing all repair and installation activities. 8. Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures. 9. Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates. 10. Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs. 11. Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary. Skills & Qualifications Required: 1. Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering preferably in Electrical and/or Electronics, with working experience of Mechanicals (or equivalent). 2. 8 - 10 experience working in a manufacturing set-up with a proven record of maintaining production team & engineering projects with at least 5 years of those Experience in automated machines and plants. 3. Experience on pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and parts 4. Capable of reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, engineering drawings and have a good understanding of tolerances and allowances. 5. Demonstrated leadership ability to influence change. 6. Good understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations, 7. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach. 8. Demonstrated ability to analyse failures and implement effective corrective solutions. 9. Conversant with CAD software, e.g., SolidWorks and Auto CAD. 10. Strong analytical skills 11. Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills 12. Ability to communicate in English – both written and oral.
