In a shocking incident, around 300 goats were sacrificed during a religious ritual at Thakur Baba’s temple in Tiloni village, Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh. The mass killing took place under a banyan tree, about 200 meters from the main shrine, as part of rituals involving hundreds of devotees from nearby towns. Despite strict regulations under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, local authorities claimed no prior knowledge of the event.
