Topic: sources of sound
Project title: Different sounds in the environment
Objective : Helping learners recognise and identify different sounds
*Stage 1: Introduction*
Introduce the concept of sounds and ask infants to listen to different noises. Ask them to point direction where each sound is coming from.
*Stage 2: Exploration*
Play various sounds (e.g., animal noises, music, nature sounds) and encourage learners to identify sources.
*Stage 3: Sound Sorting*
Sort objects that make sounds (e.g., bell, drum, rattle) and teacher play recorded sound then have learners match sounds to objects.
*Stage 4: Sensory Play*
Provide sensory experiences (e.g., shaking shakes, rattles, tapping a drum, tambourine etc) for learners to explore sounds.
*Stage 5: Real-Life Sounds*
Introduce real-life sounds (e.g., doorbell, phone ringing) and have learners identify sources.
