“The levels of religion.” [Muslim] This hadith teaches us about the three important levels in our religion, also known as the 3Is: 1. Islam – doing the right actions, like praying, fasting, giving zakat, and going for Hajj. 2. Iman – believing in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Day of Judgement. 3. Ihsan – doing everything with excellence, as if we can see Allah. This means we pray and live our lives knowing that Allah is always watching us, so we do our best to please Him in everything. Being a good Muslim is not just about action, but also about our belief in the heart and being sincere in everything we do.
