๐ญ. ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ - Only limited-term contracts are allowed (maximum 3 years, renewable).
๐ฎ. ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ - Standard hours: 8 hours/day or 48 hours/week.
๐ฏ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ - ๐๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ข๐ญ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ: 30 calendar days after 1 year of service.
๐๐ช๐ค๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ: Up to 90 days (15 full pay, 30 half pay, 45 unpaid).
๐๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐บ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ: 60 days (45 with full pay + 15 half pay).
๐๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐บ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ: 5 working days.
๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ข๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ: 3โ5 days based on the relation.
๐ฐ. ๐๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐ (๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐๐) - Applicable after completing 1 year of service.
Calculated on basic salary:
โข 21 daysโ salary/year for the first 5 years.
โข 30 daysโ salary/year beyond 5 years.
๐ฑ. ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฑ - Maximum of 6 months.
โข Employer must give 14 days' notice for termination.
โข Employee must give 1-month notice if joining another UAE company.
๐ฒ. ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป & ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป - Standard notice period: 30โ90 days.
โข Termination for gross misconduct may cancel gratuity.
โข Resignation during probation requires advance notice (14 days or 1 month).
๐ณ. ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ & ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป - Discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or disability is prohibited.
๐ด. ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ & ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐น ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ - A valid labour card and work permit (issued by MOHRE) is mandatory.
Sponsorship must be provided by the employer.
๐ต. ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ - Private companies with 50+ employees must hire UAE nationals in skilled roles.
๐ญ๐ฌ. ๐ ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ธ ๐ฅ๐๐น๐ฒ (๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ) - From June 15 to September 15, no outdoor work is allowed from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
Fines for violations: AED 5,000 per worker, up to AED 50,000 total.
