Earlier this year, four-time world champion Juha Kankkunen stepped in for Latvala, as he focused on competing in the European Historic Rally Championship. The scheduling clashes between his racing calendar and the WRC season continue into the second half of the year, meaning Latvala is unlikely to be seen often in the WRC service park.
