Hiring ✅ Job Position: Accountant Organisation: Dobic Health & HelpMum Location: On-site in Lagos, Nigeria (only Lagos-based applicants should apply) Salary: ₦250,000 per month Application Deadline: Monday, 16 June 2025 Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments * Maintain accurate financial records: post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and track expenditures * Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for management review * Liaise with internal teams (finance, operations, admin) and external parties (vendors, partners) on billing and payment matters * Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational guidelines * Assist in budget monitoring, forecasts, and month-end/quarter-end closing tasks * Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations * Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally within health-tech or nonprofit environments * Proficient with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus * Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills * Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams * High integrity and commitment to confidentiality * Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks How to Apply: Send your CV and a concise cover letter explaining your suitability for the role to [email protected] by end of day on Monday, 16 June 2025 with the heading “Accountant” Applications from candidates not currently based in Lagos will not be considered.
