My husband was bitten by Pitbulls at the roundabout near Highglen, where there are water tanks. This happened last week Friday (13 June) as he was passing by on his way home from work. On Saturday, we passed through the same place on our way back from Harare Hospital to inform the people there that their dogs had attacked someone. We found some workers who said they would tell the owner, since he was not around. They called him, and he told us to phone again on Sunday (15 June) so we could meet. But up to now, he has not called us back. We ended up opening a docket because the owner kept quiet. When we went to Glen Norah Police, they said we should report the case at Budiriro 2 Police Station instead. We then went with a police officer from Budiriro to the scene where the incident happened. The officer got the dog owner’s contact details and spoke to him, but we didn’t hear what was said. The officer only told us the man would come to the police station, but up to now, we have not received any help from him. The officer has also gone quiet, yet my husband was seriously injured.
