My educated friends(especially those in the humanities) love a certain statement that I think is largely overstated in its purported power. Do not get me wrong. I believe that it works. But with serious difficulties. The statement is, simply increase civic education. As Henry Rosovsky states: Never underestimate the difficulty of changing false beliefs by facts.
