*CONDOLENCE MESSAGE* 13-06-2025 It is with profound sorrow that the *Kuki Students’ Organisation, Delhi & NCR*, conveys its deepest condolences on the untimely and tragic demise of *Miss Lamnunthem Singson*, a cabin crew member of Air India, who lost her life in the catastrophic crash of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on Thursday, 12th June 2025, shortly after its departure from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, en route to London Gatwick. The crash, which claimed many lives—including Indian, British, Portuguese, and Canadian nationals—has cast a shadow of grief across families and communities worldwide. Miss Lamnunthem Singson was a dedicated and promising young professional whose career in civil aviation stood as a testament to her resilience, ambition, and strength of character. Following the passing of her father, she and her siblings were brought up by their courageous mother. Originally residents of Old Lambulane, Imphal, the family was displaced during the ongoing ethnic conflict in Manipur and had since been living in precarious conditions as internally displaced persons in Kangpokpi, Manipur. Her passing is an irreparable loss to her bereaved family and to the wider community that took pride in her achievements. In a time marked by social dislocation, political repression, and the trauma of ethnic violence, her death deepens the collective pain of our people. On behalf of the entire Kuki community in Delhi and the National Capital Region, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family. We share in their grief and stand in solidarity with them during this time of profound loss. May the Almighty grant them strength and solace, and may her soul, along with all others who perished in the crash, rest in eternal peace.
