The North West Province is hosting an important high-level stakeholder engagement aimed at evaluating the progress made in including persons with disabilities across various government departments. The engagement brought together representatives from the Provincial Disability Forum along with key Disability Focal Points (DFPs) from several government departments: Social Development, Public Works, Health, Education, Provincial Treasury, Office of the Premier, Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism, Human Settlements, and Community Safety and Transport Management. The Provincial Education Officer, Tsholofelo Sabole outlined the session's purpose, stipulating that the engagement was to ensure that departments not only understand their responsibilities but are also actively working to fulfill them.
