How to understand Grammar Difference between English and Arabic grammar Arabic grammar we identify and understand the sentence based on the endings Illustrating the beauty of the language “Amr hit Zayd '' in the English language unfortunately, that's the only way to say that sentence. It is the moving of words that’ll change the meaning, so if we want Zayd to be the hitter then we just replace to two names eg. Zayd hit Amr. So we see from the angle that English is quite robust. Now let's compare that to the Arabic language. In the Arabic language if we change the order of the sentence it’ll still make sense because in Arabic grammar we identify the overall meaning of the sentence based on the ending of the word, depending on the diacritical mark, so regardless the placement of the order it’ll still make sense to the reader, however this is not the case when it comes to English. To clarify the matter, we can say Zayd hit Amr in six different ways. ضرب زيدٌ امرً زسدٌ ضرب امرً امرً ضرب زيدٌ زسدٌ امرً ضرب ضرب امرً زيدٌ امرً زيدٌ ضرب The reader who understands Arabic Grammar will come to understand that all those six sentences simply means “Zayd hit Amr” This illustrates the beauty and the vastness of the Arabic language, as compared to the English language.
