Afghans once again unite in solidarity with Gaza nationwide Today, on Friday, the people of Afghanistan are staging extensive demonstrations to halt the bloodshed and oppression inflicted upon the innocent inhabitants of Gaza by the Zionist regime. These protests, occurring in all 34 provinces of the nation, witness the participation of Afghan intellectuals, journalists, social media advocates, civil society groups, and human rights activists, as they vocally express their backing for the defenseless population of Palestine. They denounce this conflict as a battle for humanity and the decimation of an entire generation, condemning the targeting of children, attacks on hospitals, the martyrdom of journalists, and the global community's silence in the face of these atrocities. Since October 7, 2023, over 54,000 individuals have lost their lives in Gaza, with around 124,000 sustaining injuries, a vast majority of whom are women and children.
