As a result, some 470,000 cars are expected to leave the Barcelona area and head to beach destinations or rural areas to celebrate with friends and family. 🚨 Barcelona will activate a special deployment to reinforce police presence on the city's beaches, where thousands gather every year to celebrate Sant Joan. The city's fire department will also increase its resources to respond to incidents typically associated with the night, such as burning containers or the occasional tree fire. 🏖️ Once the festivities wind down, beach eviction will begin at 6.30 am, with cleaning crews moving in to restore the area.
