‎ ‎Ashley Masendeke a.k.a Mai Jeremaya cross examination in the rape case at the magistrates court. ‎ ‎ ‎"You told the court that you removed your clothes on your own?," asked Shepherd Makonde, lawyer of the two men accused of rape. ‎ ‎"Yes," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎ ‎"You told the court that you set on the bed with the accused person," Makonde asked. ‎ ‎"Yes," Masendeke answered. ‎ ‎ ‎"Are you the one who removed the bra and the pulling stockings?," Makonde said. ‎ ‎"Yes, I was told to do so," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎ ‎"He did not jump on you he started fondling your breasts to solicit consent in a romantic moment?," Makonde said. ‎ ‎"It was not romantic, I was crying and was told to stop crying," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎"Is it true that you went on top of him during the sex act?," Makonde asked. ‎ ‎"Yes," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎"Is it correct that you directed his penis into your vagina?," Makonde said. ‎ ‎"Yes, because he had failed, it was painful when he tried to insert his penis," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎"In you statement you said it was Charlie who removed your bra and not yourself." ‎ ‎"Yes," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎ ‎"You did not tell the police you removed your bra and stockings on your own according to your police statements?," Makonde asked. ‎ ‎"I did not use those exact words," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎ ‎"You did not tell the police that you were the one on top riding the accused person," Makonde said. ‎ ‎"I told them but they did not include it. If I had known that I should include all the nitty gritties I should have done it," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"Why was it not important for you to tell the police that you assisted the accused person to penetrate you by holding his penis?," Makonde asked. ‎ ‎"I did tell them but not exactly that I was on top. The police said they wanted to know whether there was penetration," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎"From the footage on the laptop you can see that the guard was close to the window in the room you were in. Why didn't you scream?," Makonde asked. ‎ ‎"I cried and screamed and no-one came to my rescue," Masendeke said. ‎ ‎"Now you took $20.
