Tesla has finally opened its long-awaited Supercharger station in Vaughan, Ontario, after a nearly two-year delay. The 16-stall facility, located at 3940 Highway 7 in front of the Fortinos grocery store, officially went live this week. Originally expected to open in late 2022, the project faced setbacks due to municipal concerns over a right-of-way, which were resolved in mid-2023, allowing construction to proceed. The new station offers faster charging speeds (up to 250 kW), helps relieve pressure on nearby locations, and provides a convenient spot for drivers near Highways 400 and 407.
