*‼️‼️SCHOLARSHIP FOR ATHLETES* *UNIVERSITY OF ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES, SUNYANI* As part of our continued commitment to maintaining high standards of performance and integrity within our athletic programs, The Sports and Recreation Directorate is conducting a “Justify Your Inclusion” review for all middle and long-distance athletes seeking placement at the UNIVERSITY OF ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES, SUNYANI. Who Needs to Participate: All athletes specializing in events 800m, 1500m and above, including cross-country and marathon disciplines. Purpose: This initiative aims to ensure that every athlete on the roster meets the required performance benchmarks, demonstrates consistent training discipline, and aligns with our competitive goals. Types of Athletic Scholarships 1. Full Scholarships Covers tuition and accomodation 2. Partial Scholarships Covers only part of the costs (e.g., tuition or accomodation). 3. Performance-Based Renewals Some scholarships are renewed annually based on the athlete’s performance, both academically and athletically. Poor performance or violations of team/university rules may result in scholarship reduction or termination.
