It’s the June holiday travel season, and we all know you can’t board your plane without your boarding pass. The same goes for applying for an HDB flat – you will need your HFE letter! 😉 The HFE letter tells you whether: ✅ you can buy an HDB flat ✅ you can receive grants, and the grant amounts ✅ you can take up an HDB housing loan, and the loan amount So apply early, and be ready with your ‘boarding pass’ when it’s time to buy your home! #ICYMI: To provide a smoother experience for flat applicants, we will be suspending our e-service for application of HFE letter during the July 2025 sales launch. All new flat buyers should have obtained their HFE letters by the sales launch and will not be affected. For resale flat buyers with a tight timeline, do apply early for an HFE letter, which is valid for 9 months.

This July, HDB will be launching about 5,400 flats in Bukit Merah, Bukit Panjang, Clementi, Sembawang, Tampines, Toa Payoh, and Woodlands in the July BTO sales exercise. Another 3,000 flats will also be offered under the Sale of Balance Flats exercise. If you are looking to apply for a flat in the sales exercise, apply for an HFE letter and submit all required documents by 15 May 2025. To provide a smoother experience for flat applicants, we will be suspending our e-service for application of HFE letter during the 8-day sales exercise in July. All new flat buyers should have obtained their HFE letters by the sales launch and will not be affected. Home buyers, more new homes are coming your way in 2025! In October, we’ll launch the first BTO project at the former Keppel Club Site. Located next to Berlayer Creek, the project will offer around 1,000 units ranging from 2-room Flexi to 4-room flats, as well as public rental flats, in a central location close to nature. #DYK that a granite rock outcrop, ‘Batu Berlayar’, once stood nearby and was said to have served as a navigational marker for maritime traders? We’ll be sharing more information on the project later this year. Also, here’s a first look at the Toa Payoh Town (West) BTO project that we’re launching this July. Home buyers will be able to choose from 740 units of 2-room Flexi to 4-room flats, and the project will come with new amenities such as an eating house, shops, and a preschool.
