🌍Our world is made of an invisible web of *biodiversity*. But *the loss of species weakens this web* and can alter an entire ecosystem, and this affects us too. 🐝Take *pollinators* for example. *Without them, most of our food wouldn't exist.* *More than 200 000 animal species are pollinators, including more than 20 000 bee species!* 🦋Butterflies, birds, moths, beetles, and even bats or lizards are pollinators too! *From increased food production to increased biodiversity our pollinators give us so much.* 💚We need to *protect our pollinators to preserve our biodiversity* and secure our future of food! React with a ❤️ if you care about pollinators and 🔁 share this with your friends and family!

*It's World Peatlands Day!* A *peatland is an area of land with layers of accumulated organic surface material in a state of decay* (known as peat). Peat develops in waterlogged conditions. *Peatlands contain about 1/3 of all soil carbon* and are also a source of *nutritious food, medicinal plants and construction materials*.
