[Just a few tips on the C1/D Visa interview. Questions they will ask. NB: Keep answers as simple as possible and straight to the point. 1. Why are you here? 2. What company will you be working for.? 3. How did you find out about the Job.? 4. Where will you be staying for the 1st few days before joining the ship.? 5. Which port are you joining at. (PLEASE KNOW THIS) as they will deny you the VISA if you don't know. (Check port on your LOE) 6. Do you have any family or friends in the states.? 7. How long is your contract.? 8. Which department will you be working in and what position.? Answers. 1. I'm here for my C1/D Visa Interview, so I can join my ship. 2. Royal Caribbean Cruises 3. I saw it through an advertisement on social media and i applied. NB: Never say "I heard it from a friend or I have family that works on the cruise " 4. The Company has organized a Hotel for the 1st few day before the Port agent collects me to join the Ship. 5. Check your port on our LOE (Dont forget this) 6. The answer is ALWAYS NO..!!! Even if you do have family or friends staying in the states. 7. 6,7 or 8 months however long your contract is, as stated on your agreement form. 8. Name your department and Position ( As stated on you LOE ). REMEMBER: Be bold and confident. NEVER say you don't know an answer GUESS if you have too. Ask them to repeat the question if you don't or understand. If they ask you, Eg: How many Dinning areas are in the ship you joining and you don't know. (Just give them any number 3 or 4) They also don't know....😄 Goodluck everyone.
