As-salamu-alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh *Dear Respected Trustees / Imams / Hafiz of Masajids,* We wish you all a blessed and peaceful holy month of Ramadan. As you may be aware, there is a lack of uniformity in the recitation of the Holy Quran during Taraweeh prayers across different masajids. This can cause difficulties for Namazees who wish to complete one Quran Shareef during Taraweeh. To address this issue, we at Haji Ali Dargah Trust & Mahim Dargah Trust have obtained a request and appeal from Mufti Mehmood Akhtarul Qadri, Qazi-e-Shaher. The request and appeal aim to maintain uniformity in the recitation of the Quran in every masajid. We kindly request you to adhere to the the request and appeal issued by the Qazi-e-Shaher to ensure uniformity in the recitation of the Holy Quran during Taraweeh prayers. As per the appeal, the Imams / Hafiz are requested to recite the Holy Quran according to the following schedule: 1. 📍First 10 days of Ramzan recite 1.5 para of Quran Shareef per day = 15 para of Quran Shareef Complete. 2. 📍Next 13 days of Ramzan recite 1 para of Quran Shareef per day = 13 para of Quran Shareef Complete. 3. 📍Next 4 days of Ramzan recite half para of Quran Shareef per day = 2 para of quran shareef complete. 4. 📍InshaAllah on 27th Ramzan (Shab-E-Qadr) we will complete recitation of the entire Quran Shareef. This will ensure that the Holy Quran is recited uniformly in all masajids, and the muqtadis (Namazees) can complete the Holy Quran without any break or overlap.
