See your future with faith, no fear Philasande Ngobese is a 25 year old handsome model who is very ambitious to change the world in a positive way by displaying his talents. He was born, bred and buttered in Howick and Bulwer. He is changing people's perception toward modelling. Many people think that modelling is only for girls. He started his journey of modelling in the year of 2023 because he strongly believes that it is a perfect platform for personal growth. " To be honest with you, l started with R0, nothing was penned down or calculated. The burning desire and strong passion led me to take a step of faith. I left with no choice than to use the available resources around me so that l can attain my desired goals. I simply used my social media platforms to market my work and the word of mouth. God is faithful. I was crowned as a King on several pageants such as Mr and Miss Excellence of SA, Seed of tomorrow, Mr and Miss Inkanyezi, Mr and Miss Umngeni, Mr and Miss Beauty Impendle, Mr and Miss Heritage In Newcastle, Mr and Miss Life New Fam and Mr and Miss Classy 2nd Prince. Currently, he is reigning as a Finalist of Mr and Miss Trinity SA. I do all things through Christ who strengthens me," he says. What makes you standout? My super power is that l am unique, real and authentic. No matter how far l can go in my life, l will do my best to remain humble because pride is a destiny killer. Words of wisdom It is wise for models to start their own businesses as a way to boost their financial muscle. Models will be able to pay themselves entrance fees, travelling expenses and to give back to the community. The probability of not finding a sponsorship is very high, business is the way out. Currently, l am selling perfumes which go for R100 and R150. *Refusing To Slow Down!* Naledi is not a small girl but she is extraordinary in every sense. At the age of 12, she has already achieved remarkable results in her life. As a goal driven, passionate and enthusiastic young girl who hails all the way from Durban, KwaZulu Natal. She is a talk of the town through her admirable works in the modelling industry. Naledi Shiba is a seasonal and professional model who is doing grade 8 at Overport Secondary School. Our fireball started her modelling career at a toddler age and she has achieved many titles and crowns in her life. Recently, she was crowned as Miss Ndlukulu 2nd Princess and Miss Durban African Beauty Queen. Who is your biggest champion? My biological mother. She is one of my biggest supporters of my own dreams. She knows how to pick me up when I am feeling down. My mother is a dutiful woman who taught me to be a responsible person at a younger age. Furthermore, she taught me to be resilient. To be confident even if I am surrounded by people who do not like me. Words of wisdom A roaring lion does not kill or harm anyone. Sitting down and talking about your loft dreams does not make any difference in your life. Be willing to pay the price by taking action. Rather than to be a passive person. *You're kidding,* right Zimbabwe has run out of venues. What a shocking surprise So, we're expected to trek all the way to Limpopo, South Africa just to watch our lovely queens strut their stuff on stage? Because, clearly, Zimbabwe's vibrant cities like Harare and Bulawayo just aren't good enough. I mean, who needs local tourism when you can boost South Africa's economy instead? It's not like we have stunning natural wonders like Victoria Falls or Hwange National Park that could host a fabulous pageant. And what about the logistics? Are we expected to hitchhike to Limpopo or something? All joking aside, it's really disappointing that Zimbabwe can't host its own pageant. Hopefully, next year we'll get our act together and showcase our beautiful country to the world. *Until then, road trip to Limpopo, anyone*
