📅 From September 1, 2025: • NSE will switch its weekly equity derivatives expiry from Thursday → Tuesday. • BSE will move its weekly equity derivatives expiry from Tuesday → Thursday  . 📌 Important Context • These changes were approved by SEBI on June 17, 2025, under its new rule to have only one weekly expiry per exchange, either on Tuesday or Thursday . • The adjustments only apply to new contracts expiring September 1, 2025 onward. Existing contracts retain their old expiry days until August 31, 2025 . • Additionally, monthly contracts will expire on the last Tuesday (NSE) and last Thursday (BSE) of each month from that date .
