Taking place next Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm, there's something for all ages to enjoy, including traditional Highland Games events, FREE fun activities, quality trade and charity stalls and fantastic stage performances featuring Mr Bloom from CBeebies!! From visiting the spectacular Tall Ships, to headline Quayside Concerts, 6 bars and street food, 60 market stalls, a Discovery Zone, Funfair and the breathtaking Red Arrows display, it’s set to be an unmissable event!! There’s currently 45 ships visiting Aberdeen during this year’s Tall Ships Races from 19-22 July! ⚓️⛵️ These magnificent vessels, divided into four classes, range from large sailing ships to smaller single-masted boats. Some of the great ships you’ll see this summer include: 🔹Corsaro II – A stunning yacht used for sail training third-year students of the Italian Naval Academy. 🔹Dars Szczecina – Owned by the City of Szczecin in Poland, this ship has been a regular participant in the Tall Ships Races since 1976 and is typically by manned by students from the city. 🔹Rona II (pictured) – Built in 1991, Rona II is renowned as one of the hardest-working and most resilient Oyster yachts in the world.
